It is important to note that Colleen McCarvill is fully certified, non-aversive and that her international credentials can be verified. While there is no regulation in this industry, ethics should guide all of us to carry the proper credentials when providing training services to the public.

Virtual Customized training with Diamond in the Ruff Inc. is quite unique and there are 4 specific training program options available to suit every training desire or challenge imaginable.
Programs do not need to be followed in succession and training is designed specifically for you, your family and your dog(s), unlike group classes where only a small percentage of time is spent individually with each client/family/dog(s).
Program 1 – LITTLE “RUFF” AROUND THE EDGES
Do your family and your dog have some challenges that require addressing and problems that need to be solved? Would you like to get started on the fast track to success?
This is exactly the program that you’re looking for! In this FOUR 30-minute session private program, all of your questions are answered, from feeding and housetraining to problem-solving and cues/commands like COME, SIT, STAY, LEAVE IT, DROP IT… 16 IN TOTAL, and so much more.
A plan is established for your specific needs, practiced and set in motion.
Dogs who are reactive (aggressive) are not eligible for a Program 1, as they require more sessions, and will be given more documentation.

Program 2 – ROWDY ROVER
Would you like instruction and guidance while you introduce your dog to various stimuli in the environment? Does your dog show mild to moderate behavioural challenges either in the home or out in the world of distractions and competing motivators?
Program 2 includes SIX 30-minute sessions.

/Deem/DecemberProgram 3 – RESTLESS ROVER
Are you struggling with a dog who appears aggressive to strangers or other dogs either in the home or outside in the real world? Are you having a difficult time walking your dog(s) past distractions or introducing your dog to real life situations without anxiety? Are you struggling with leaving your dog home alone; as they cry or howl when you leave; to come back and find things destroyed or that they’ve hurt themselves in anxiety?
This EIGHT 30-minute session program is designed to not only give you the tools to set both you and your dog up for success but also to practice those new skills with progress under supervision and instruction.
Sessions are typically used within a two to three-month period to ensure success and to provide both dog and owner with exposure and consistency, two very important components to a successful training plan.
The price for Restless Rover is $504.00 + GST. *There will not be any additional charge for Private Training for households with more than one dog.

Program 4 – REACTIVE ROVER
Are you struggling with a dog whose anxiety or aggression/reactivity is far beyond your means of control? Does your dog lash out seemingly with no signs beforehand? Do you feel like you’ve tried everything and are at the end of your “leash”?
This TEN 30-minute session training program is designed to address reactivity and anxiety, even in the most extreme cases.
Many people choose this option if they are experiencing reactivity issues where the dog has already failed (snapped or growled at people, or fought with other dogs) or if they’re managing issues with more than one dog.
Sessions are typically used within a three to four-month period to ensure success and to provide both dog and owner with exposure and consistency, two very important components to a successful training plan.
The price for Reactive Rover is $600.00 + GST. *There will not be any additional charge for Private Training for households with more than one dog.

$600.00 + GST
Training costs and time-frames are non-negotiable, and after the first session are non-refundable, however are transferable and hold a 1-year expiry from the date of the first session, barring any mutually accepted extenuating circumstances. Sessions must be booked no more than 1 month apart, to ensure continuity. If a payment plan has been agreed upon (for a Program 3 or 4), the full amount is required within 60 days of the initial session, regardless of sessions booked or completed.

All Programs come with e-mailed documentation and include not only what you specifically want to cover but everything that Diamond in the Ruff Inc. sees happening that needs attention. Diamond in the Ruff Inc. provides the necessary obedience training with every program.
Emergency Recall, an amazingly effective, rock solid recall that Colleen developed while working with zoo animals is included in EVERY PROGRAM. It’s fun to teach, easy to use and will be your dog’s life insurance should you ever need to call your dog away from any challenging/dangerous competing motivator.
